The UK Vision Strategy is uniting all those in the UK who want to take action on issues relating to vision.

For the first time, visually impaired people, eye health and social care professionals, and statutory and voluntary organisations, have come together to improve eye care and sight loss services.

Techshare is a series of pan-disability assistive technology events, hosted by RNIB. Techshare Mobile 2010, the latest event in the series, will feature invited key speakers, including keynotes from RIM and Nokia and other workshop leaders from the world of mobile technology.

The day will showcase innovations in digital technology for blind and partially sighted people and others with disabilities. There will be a strong focus on hardware and software in this field including mobile phones, netbooks, tablets and portable reading devices. Of course, mobile web will also be a key element.
