Campaign Focuses on Eye Checks

100 people in the UK start to lose their sight every day and in many cases it’s because early signs of eye disease go undetected.

New research has revealed that 4 in 10 people in the UK don’t have their eyes checked on a regular basis.

These findings have prompted RNIB and Action for Blind People to launch a campaign called the Great Big Eye Check.

It's to urge people, regardless of their level of vision, to pay more attention to their sight.
